Replay and recording

Review locally captured browser work and choose when pictures are kept.

Use replay to inspect what an agent did. Action snapshots and video replay are human-enabled captures. Enable them in the window only when the page is safe to record. Agents cannot turn on recording through a tool call.

Two kinds of capture

Action recording saves JPEG snapshots after actions, with the tool and time. Video replay saves a bounded sequence of screencast frames with action marks. Replay shows recorded pictures; it does not undo or repeat the website’s actions.

Captures stay in the local data folder. Saved captures use owner-only files. Do not assume screenshots hide all sensitive content. Review them before sharing or exporting. Secure-entry sessions black out pictures and block exports until they close.

Space and disk limits

Action recordings keep at most 500 frames per recording and 256 MiB in total. Video replay keeps at most 1,500 frames and 32 MiB per agent, with a 256 MiB total cap. Frames are capped at 2 MiB. These limits stop unbounded capture; they are not a guaranteed duration.

Private capture is deleted on close. Restart reconciliation removes private and orphaned frames after a crash. Capture is disabled on restart; enable it again deliberately. Saved-space capture may remain until deleted in the window.

If recording stops

Check the window for a capture error and check free disk space. Refresh replay and turn Record video on again after fixing the cause. A missing replay may have been removed when its private session closed. It cannot be restored by replaying the tool call.
